Thinking About Applying?
Local artists are encouraged to apply by completing our form. The top three candidates will be selected and asked to submit their mural design with a description. The community will vote to pick the winner through a survey we will promote on our social media, email newsletters, and website. The winner can choose to paint the mural themselves, or we can have a mural painter bring the vision to life. Once the mural is complete, we will invite the community to do the big reveal.

1st place: $1,000 prize
In addition winner get to be featured in magazine ads and a Lowkey swag bag.

About The Contest
As part of Lowkey's mission to level up the Dorchester community we are holding a contest to choose a local artist to design a mural for the exterior of LowKey's Dorchester Dispensary. The design should represent Dorchester and specifically also represent Codman Square. The winner will have their design featured on the exterior wall our dispensary, be highlighted in future Lowkey promotions, and will receive a $1,000 prize! The winner can choose to paint the mural themselves or allow one of our artist to complete the painting and vision.
Dispensary Location
Lowkey will be opening in June 2022 in Dorchester MA. A dispensary in West Roxbury MA. will be opening shortly after.

At Lowkey Dispensary, we’re launching our first community mural design competition to highlight local art inspired by the community from our own block.
